2007: Featured lecturer for the New York Textile Society. New York, NY
1993-present: Sakiori Developed business that produces hand woven scarves and fabrics, using recycled kimono silks. These textiles are sold through Asiatica (Kansas City, KS), The Weisman Museum (Minneapolis), Stewart Weitzman (NYC), and other small textile galleries throughout the US and Europe. They were also formerly available through the American Craft Museum (NYC) and Peruvian Connection, a catalogue distributed worldwide.
1995-1998: Owner/ Director  of The Red Chair Gallery, an alternative space dedicated to showing fine arts and crafts, affiliated with the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
1993-1998: Production Assistant business (WBE) for Asiatica, an internationally recognized woman owned specializes in the reconstruction of antique Kimono fabrics into contemporary high-end garments.
1993-1998: Technical Assistant for Jason Pollen. Responsibilities included assisting at various stages with construction of new textile projects and all finish work on final projects, in addition to
organizing and maintaining studio and work environment. Jason Pollen is the acting President of the Surface Design Association and Chair of the Fiber Department at the Kansas City Art Institute.
