Made with pieced vintage Japanese textiles the GOLDEN REPAIR series was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary (GOLD) of ASIATICA, a store here in Kansas City that has influenced me since I worked there in the late 1990’s & inspired the materials I use in my artwork to this day.
Each piece is one of a kind, wrapped around a stretched canvas with a hanging wire attached.
